Fiorentina have reportedly dived in for Daniele De Rossi, offering the former Roma midfielder an initial one-year contract.
According to Calciomercato.com, the offer is worth around €1.4m a season and includes the option of a second year.
As per the website, De Rossi has an ‘excellent’ relationship with Viola Coach Vincenzo Montella and sporting director Daniele Prade from their time together at Roma.
He would also go towards filling the void about to be left in their midfield by Jordan Veretout, who is being linked with the Giallorossi in turn.
CM also agrees Sampdoria, Milan and Inter are options for the World Cup winner, who turns 36 next month, after it emerged he was looking to stay in Italy.
