Adrien Rabiot should finalise his free transfer to Juventus on Tuesday, but the Catalan Press believe Matthijs de Ligt could still join Barcelona.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, Rabiot will officially become a Juve player on July 1, a day after his Paris Saint-Germain contract expires.

He will become the second midfielder to sign for Juve on a Bosman this summer after Aaron Ramsey.

However, Mundo Deportivo is running with its front page for Tuesday that De Ligt is ‘still possible’ for Barca.

The Bianconeri have made a sudden dash for the Ajax defender, holding talks with agent Mino Raiola over a €70m transfer.

On the other hand, Sky Sport Italia warns the Bianconeri’s offer of a salary worth €7.5m plus bonuses is far below the teenager’s demands of €12m plus bonuses.

Although the Old Lady would be hoping to use his desire to join as a bargaining chip, Mundo Deportivo maintains he still has not ruled out the Blaugrana and that his future ‘remains open’.

Sky also claims Paris Saint-Germain have not yet given up hope of bringing him in.
