Romelu Lukaku’s agent has confirmed that Inter are trying to sign the Manchester United striker. “Nothing is impossible...”
Federico Pastorello met Inter executives at the club’s offices on Tuesday afternoon, amidst mounting speculation linking the Nerazzurri with Lukaku and fellow client Valentino Lazaro.
“We talked about [Edoardo] Vergani because his is a more urgent situation,” Pastorello told FC Inter News.
“In the next few days, we’ll talk about the rest.”
The young striker is being tipped to join Sassuolo in exchange for Italy midfielder Stefano Sensi.
The representative then discussed possible moves for the Belgian, Lazaro and Beneamata outcast Antonio Candreva.
“Lukaku is a dream, a difficult one to make happen as such, but I believe nothing is impossible.”
So are Inter actively trying to sign him?
“Yes, he’s publicly expressed his plans and desires. We’ll see what happens.
“There’s nothing to say about Candreva. As for Lazaro, there’s a chance that he’ll wear the Nerazzurri jersey, but there’s still distance between the parties.”
