Giampiero Ventura is ready for a return to management, as he is expected to sign a one-year contract with Serie B side Salernitana.
The former Torino and Italy boss had a very brief spell on the Chievo bench in November 2018, lasting only four games before walking away.
According to Sky Sport Italia and Sportitalia, Ventura is on the verge of signing a one-year deal with Salernitana, possibly with an option for a second season.
The 71-year-old has been working as a Coach since 1981, including the likes of Lecce, Cagliari, Sampdoria, Udinese, Napoli, Verona and Bari.
Salernitana are owned by Lazio President Claudio Lotito and only just avoided relegation from Serie B this season.
