Inter met with Nicolò Barella and Radja Nainggolan’s agent today, preparing to fight Roma with an increased bid for the Cagliari midfielder.
Alessandro Beltrami was spotted leaving the Nerazzurri HQ this evening following a meeting, just hours after the club announced Stefano Sensi’s arrival from Sassuolo, on loan with option to buy.
Naturally, it was reported this visit was to discuss Barella, as Cagliari have practically accepted the offer from Roma, but the Italy international has been leaning towards Inter for months.
According to Calciomercato.com, Inter called in Beltrami to talk about what bid would work for Cagliari.
At the same time, they also considered Nainggolan’s future, as he is not believed to be central to Coach Antonio Conte’s plans.
