After Rade Krunic, Milan are set to purchase another Empoli midfielder, with a €16m plus €1m bonus deal for Ismael Bennacer.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the two clubs have agreed terms this evening, beating the likes of Fiorentina and Roma to the Algeria international.
Bennacer has been very impressive at the Africa Cup of Nations and will follow his Empoli teammate Krunic to San Siro.
Transfer pundit Gianluca Di Marzio claims the original offer was €13m, whereas Empoli were asking for €15m plus another €3m in bonuses.
It’s believed they reached an agreement for €16m in a fixed fee plus a €1m add-on.
