Although A Bola claims Brazil star Everton is pushing for a Milan move, Italian sources close to the club insist the Gremio winger is no longer a target.
The report appeared in Portuguese paper A Bola today, suggesting Everton had agreed personal terms and the Rossoneri needed to pay the €40m asking price.
However, Italian media including MilanNews.it and La Gazzetta dello Sport contacted Milan, only to be told Everton is not in their plans.
He had been the subject of talks when Leonardo was still the director of sport.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the only offer that has arrived for Everton is from Manchester City.
