Sassuolo have officially signed midfielder Hamed Traore from Empoli on a two-year loan with obligation to buy.

Although there is no mention of it on the websites of Sassuolo or Empoli, Juventus are understood to have helped the Neroverdi purchase Traore, including a first option of their own to buy the player in the future.

The 19-year-old was part of Empoli’s eye-catching midfield last season, scoring two goals and providing as many assists in 32 Serie A appearances.
