Mauro Icardi has officially left the Inter training camp by mutual consent and will continue fitness work by himself in Milan, announced the club.
“Mauro Icardi will today return to Milan from our training camp in Lugano,” read a statement.
“The club and the striker have come to this decision by mutual agreement. Icardi will continue his pre-season training over the next few days and will take no part in our Summer Tour in Asia.”
Icardi and Radja Nainggolan have reportedly been excluded from tactical training sessions with new Coach Antonio Conte.
Realising he had no hope of changing the club’s mind, it’s claimed he got on a train and left the Inter camp for a return to Milan.
Inter have slapped a €60m price-tag on the forward, which is half the €120m wanted for him a year ago.
While Napoli had seemed prepared to pay that sum, reports today again suggest Icardi only wants to join Juventus.
