Olympique Marseille and Besiktas are battling for Lazio wing-back Riza Durmisi, who barely played after his €7.5m move from Real Betis.

The Danish international, of Albanian descent, made the move a year ago, but managed only 19 competitive appearances last season, most of them off the bench.

He had numerous injury problems to his back and thigh, so is expected to at least go out on loan this summer.

According to L’Equipe in France, Olympique Marseille are keeping a close eye on the situation and are ready to make their bid.
