Kostas Manolas subjected himself to the traditional ritual of having to sing for his new Napoli teammates and picked a very tough tune.
The former Roma defender completed his transfer last week and joined the squad for training at the Dimaro camp over the weekend.
As is increasingly the norm for football players introducing themselves to new teammates, they are asked to stand and sing as part of a hazing ritual.
Manolas certainly did not back down, as he chose a very tough song: Caruso by Lucio Dalla.
It is special to Napoli, as many of the lyrics are in a Neapolitan dialect, but above all has one of the most difficult high notes in Italian music.
As Lorenzo Insigne’s Instagram video shows, Manolas acquitted himself remarkably well.
