Fiorentina look to have missed out on Dario Benedetto as his agent confirms a deal has been agreed to take him to Olympique Marseille.
Fiorentina had reportedly targeted Benedetto to bolster their attack, but Christian Bragarnik told Fox Sports that the Boca Juniors hitman was bound for Marseille.
“Nothing’s been signed yet, but we’ve reached an agreement with L’OM,” said Bragarnik.
The Argentine is set to replace Mario Balotelli, who has left the French club following the expiry of his contract.
The Viola, meanwhile, will now need to look elsewhere for a new No 9 as West Ham United also appear to have taken Javier Hernandez off the market.
