Jordan Veretout is on the verge of joining Roma for €17m plus €2m in bonuses, as the Fiorentina man also agreed personal terms at €2.7m per year.
The midfielder had been a strong target for Napoli, Milan and Olympique Lyonnais, but Roma surged in front after the Rossoneri refused to increase their latest bid.
Multiple reports now state the Viola have accepted an offer of €17m plus €2m in add-ons.
Veretout has also agreed personal terms for a five-year contract worth €2.7m per year with another €300,000 bonus for Champions League qualification.
The 26-year-old had been largely left out of training sessions this summer, as he was insulted by Fiorentina fans following his transfer request.
He joined the Tuscans in 2017 at a cost of €7m from Aston Villa, so in two years has more than doubled his transfer value.
