Juventus have officially signed Olympique Lyonnais youth product Hamza Rafia for €400,000, with up to €5m in bonuses and 20 per cent resale cut.
Lyon announced the transfer, which unusually was reached in accordance with the two clubs, even though Rafia was yet to sign a professional contract.
It’s believed this was to ensure the Bianconeri keep Lyon on side for future negotiations.
The transfer fee is therefore €400,000, but with an additional set of performance-related bonuses up to €5m and giving Lyon 20 per cent of any future sale.
The 20-year-old French-Tunisian is a trequartista who made a real impression in the UEFA Youth League, scoring three goals and providing four assists in eight games.
