Manchester United have left Romelu Lukaku out of another preseason friendly, leaving the ball in Inter’s court.
Lukaku was already overlooked for United’s 2-0 victory over Perth Glory last week, and he is again not even a substitute against Leeds United.
The official word is that the striker picked up a knock in training.
According to Het Laaste Nieuws’ Premier League correspondent Kristof Terreur, however, the Red Devils are ‘waiting’ for Inter to come back with an improved offer.
AS reported on Tuesday that the Nerazzurri were ready to meet his €80m asking price, but Sky Sport Italia maintain they will return with a bid closer to €60m.
