Fredy Guarin has parted ways with Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua, possibly freeing himself up for a move to Atalanta.

However, they announced on Wednesday that Guarin had terminated his contract with the club.
The midfielder joined Shenhua from Inter in January 2016 and went on to post 28 goals and 22 assists in 100 appearances.
He is best known in Serie A circles for his spell with Inter, playing 150 times for the Nerazzurri over a four-year period.
The 33-year-old could now be on his way back to Italy, with Tuttomercatoweb also reporting Atalanta have made an approach.
Despite being able to offer Champions League football, the Dea cannot offer even close to the €10m he earned a season in China.
