Fiorentina have reportedly opened talks with Fernando Llorente over a possible free transfer for the ex-Juventus striker.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Fiorentina are showing ‘strong interest’ in Llorente and the first contacts have already been made.
The 34-year-old is currently available on a free transfer after his Tottenham Hotspur contract expired, although he could be offered an extension by the Champions League finalists.
He previously spent two seasons with Juve between 2013 and 2015, scoring 27 goals in 92 appearances and winning two Scudetti.
The Viola are in the market for firepower as Giovanni Simeone is the only recognised centre-forward on their books.
