Mattia Perin says he is ready to ‘put what I learned at Juventus into practice’ after agreeing to join Portuguese champions Benfica.
Perin is on his way to Benfica in a €15m deal after just nine appearances in his one and only season at Juve, despite promising to be Gianluigi Buffon’s long-term heir when he arrived from Genoa last summer.
“It’s an exciting adventure and I can’t wait to get started,” the 26-year-old told Sky Sport Italia.
“I thank Juventus for giving me the opportunity to improve a lot last season. Now I want to put into practice what I learned.”
