Fernando Llorente’s agent confirmed “Fiorentina are certainly a possibility, but Lazio, Atalanta and Inter have also made an approach.”
The 34-year-old striker is a free agent after his contract with Tottenham Hotspur expired and it would be a return to Serie A, having scored 27 goals in 92 games for Juventus from 2013 to 2015.
“Fernando is a free agent and can sign for whoever he wants,” agent and brother Jesus Llorente told Calciomercato.com.
“We are receiving a lot of interest and appreciation from clubs around Europe, so we’ll see what happens.”
There had been reports of Fiorentina proposing a deal for the Spain international centre-forward.
“Fiorentina are certainly a possibility for Fernando and they did show interest, but other Serie A sides have also made an approach, including Lazio, Atalanta and Inter.
“We are glad to see he is still appreciated in Italy.”
