Milan are on the verge of striking a deal with Atletico Madrid for Angel Correa at €50m plus up to €7m bonuses, claim Sky Sport Italia.
Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio maintains director Zvonimir Boban was in Spain yesterday to work out the details and get the move into the final stretch.
The asking price was €55m and last week it was reported Milan had offered €45m, but it seems as if they’ll meet in the middle with additional bonuses.
It'll be €50m transfer fee including some relatively easy to achieve bonuses, and others that are much more difficult worth another €7m.
According to MilanNews.it, the fixed fee is closer to €40m with another €10m in bonuses and the €7m in 'tougher' add-ons.
The 24-year-old Argentina international is seen by new Coach Marco Giampaolo as the ideal foil to striker Krzysztof Piatek.
Andre Silva is on his way to Monaco, with Patrick Cutrone also likely to be sold in order to raise funds for this transfer.
Last season, Correa scored five goals with five assists in 49 competitive appearances for Atletico Madrid.
It’s believed he has already agreed personal terms with the Rossoneri.
