There are mixed reports over the exact cost of Milan’s bid for Atletico Madrid forward Angel Correa, but it’s believed to be €40m plus a range of bonuses.
Sky Sport Italia claimed this afternoon that the deal was done for €50m including easy-to-attain bonuses, plus another €7m in much more difficult add-ons tied to performances and trophies.
MilanNews.it and Sportitalia insist the fixed transfer fee is at most €40m with bonuses then bringing it closer to the €50m mark.
Later in the evening, Sky Sport Italia also changed their version to make it clear only €40m were guaranteed in the deal.
Milan have already agreed personal terms with the Argentina international, reported to be a five-year contract worth €3m per year, according to Sportitalia.
