Federico Chiesa was locked in talks with Fiorentina chiefs Giancarlo Antognoni and advisor Joe Barone on the team bus today.
The squad is on its pre-season tour of North America and when the bus came to a halt, the entire squad disembarked except for Chiesa.
Sky Sport Italia showed the bus with Chiesa on it, accompanied only by director and Viola legend Antognoni, director Dario Dainelli and President Rocco Commisso’s right-hand man, Joe Barone.
According to the reports, they were on the bus alone for over 20 minutes, then Chiesa left to join his teammates.
There were suggestions in today’s newspapers that Chiesa was ready to demand a move for Juventus.
The 21-year-old scored 12 goals with nine assists in 41 competitive games for Fiorentina last season.
