Udinese say Palermo striker Ilija Nestorovski is ‘practically ours’ and that they are not obliged to sell Rodrigo de Paul this summer.

Nestorovski is free to leave Palermo following their demotion to Serie D, while De Paul recently announced his desire to leave Udinese for a Champions League club.

“We’ll give Tudor more than two players,” sporting director Pierpaolo Marino told Il Gazzettino.

“Nestorovski is practically ours and he’ll soon join up with the team. For midfield, we’re not only following [Dorukhan] Tokoz. We’ve also made offers for four other midfielders.

“We’ve made our positions clear and we’ll see where our offers end up very soon. As for Pezzella, we’re still in talks with Parma.

“We don’t need to make capital gains. If a great offer comes in and pleases us and De Paul, we won’t hold him back with chains as that would be counterproductive.

“However, that hasn’t happened yet and I hope De Paul stays, given we have the possibility to keep him thanks to the Pozzo family.”
