Juventus came back from 3-1 down to draw 3-3 with K League All-Stars in Seoul as Cristiano Ronaldo remained a substitute.
Maurizio Sarri gave starts to Daniele Rugani and Mario Mandzukic, as well as youngsters Pietro Beruatto and Simone Muratore, while Ronaldo dropped to the bench.
However, the Bianconeri fell behind just seven minutes in as Osmar dispossessed Gonzalo Higuain and beat Wojciech Szczesny from 25 yards out.
Higuain quickly made amends, slipping in Simone Muratore for an angled finish, but the Asians ended the first half on top through Cesinha, who celebrated his strike Ronaldo-style.
Former Fulham striker Adam Taggart was one of 10 K-League changes for the restart, and he made an instant impact, flicking in a volley after the Old Lady failed to clear their lines.
Nonetheless, Blaise Matuidi marked his cameo with a header at the far post, before fellow substitute Matheus levelled things up, nutmegging his man and poking a finish home.
However, fans at Seoul’s World Cup Stadium were left disappointed as the match ended without Ronaldo being thrown into action.
