Lecce fightback beats Frosinone

Lecce fought back from a goal down to beat Alessandro Nesta's Frosinone 4-1 in this evening’s friendly in Trento.

The recently-relegated Canarini had a strong start, forcing Gabriel into two saves on long-range Mirko Gori strikes, but he was beaten by a Luca Paganini volley.

Marcello Trotta again tested Gabriel, but the game changed significantly in the second half.

Centre-back Biagio Meccariello equalised on 55 minutes, rising to nod in a Jacopo Petriccione free kick.

Filippo Falco turned it around with another header, then new buy Gianluca Lapadula scored a tap-in and set up Edgaras Dubickas to complete the 4-1 rout.
