“The fixture list is fascinating and having the Derby in the second round is certainly surprising, but also exciting for us and our fans,” Inzaghi told the Lazio website.
“It’s a very interesting opening to the campaign, but every game in Serie A is difficult in its own way. The first away to this new Sampdoria will be difficult, but we are working to ensure we’re ready for these challenges.”
Lazio visit Inter in Week 5 and take on Atalanta in Week 8.
