With Juventus pursuing Romelu Lukaku, it seems Inter striker Mauro Icardi is finally open to other offers from Roma and Napoli.

The Bianconeri are on the verge of completing a deal with Manchester United, handing over Paulo Dybala in exchange for Lukaku, although the final decision rests with La Joya.

Lukaku had been Inter’s first choice for the attack, but this move would also effectively rule Icardi out of joining Juventus.

Lukaku had been Inter’s first choice for the attack, but this move would also effectively rule Icardi out of joining Juventus.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Icardi has realised he can’t continue to wait for Juve and is forced to consider other alternatives.

There are two proposals on the table from within Serie A, as Napoli have long been linked, although negotiating image rights with President Aurelio De Laurentiis could be very complicated indeed.

Roma are emerging as a genuine opportunity, as they’d give Icardi a key role in Paulo Fonseca’s 4-3-3 formation.

Above all, Inter would be able to finally get Edin Dzeko, having seen their €13m plus bonuses bid rejected.

It is possible another player could be included in the swap, as Aleksandar Kolarov is also wanted by Antonio Conte.
