Milan have reportedly resumed talks for Atletico Madrid forward Angel Correa, but Valencia are also ready to pounce.
Correa looked all set for Milan, but the collapse of Andre Silva’s proposed move to Monaco forced the Rossoneri to focus on selling Patrick Cutrone and replacing him with Rafael Leao.
Nonetheless, Sky Sport Italia is now claiming negotiations are back under way between the Diavolo and Atleti, although a fee has still yet to be agreed.
The Spaniards want €50m for the 24-year-old, whereas the San Siro side are only willing to fork out €40m up front, providing Silva is moved on.
However, the broadcaster warns he is also talking to Valencia, who could have the trump card as they are in the draw for this season’s Champions League group stage.
