Riza Durmisi’s Lazio career could be short-lived, as he is reportedly in talks for a transfer to Besiktas.
The 25-year-old Denmark international was a purchase for €7m from Real Betis last summer, but managed only 19 competitive appearances.
According to the Corriere dello Sport, Besiktas are in negotiations to take him away from the Stadio Olimpico, but the two clubs are haggling over the price.
It’s claimed the initial offer was €1.5m and the demand €5m, but they are edging closer to each other and hope to meet in the middle.
The current situation has Besiktas proposing €2.5m and Lazio lowering their asking price to €4m.
Olympique Marseille have also asked after Durmisi, but did not seem to take their interest much further.
