Arkadiusz Milik is reportedly asking to double his salary, so Napoli are open to a sale, especially if they can get Mauro Icardi from Inter.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, the Poland international has started contract renegotiations on a deal that is due to expire in June 2021 and is aiming very high indeed.

The demands to double the salary, which is currently €1.8m, seemingly irritated Napoli, who take this as an opportunity to revamp their attack.

They paid €32m to purchase Milik from Ajax in 2016, but he had two very serious knee ligament injuries and in three years managed only 87 competitive games, scoring 34 goals.

With their pursuit of Icardi continuing, it’s suggested that they could either sell Milik to Real Betis in order to raise funds or offer an exchange deal plus cash with Antonio Conte’s Inter.
