ANSA reports Inter have raised their bid for Romelu Lukaku to €80m, but FcInter1908 counters they will not go over the €73m mark.
According to the news agency, Inter have moved after sensing a stalemate in Juve’s proposed swap deal with Manchester United involving Paulo Dybala and possibly Mario Mandzukic.
However, it is warned Napoli are ready to offer cash plus Arkadiusz Milik to tempt United into a sale.
FCInter1908 - an offshoot of Gazzetta dello Sport – is running its own line, that the Nerazzurri will only go back in for the Belgian if Dybala definitively opts against a switch to Old Trafford.
Furthermore, they would be hoping United drop their €83m valuation of the 26-year-old by ‘around €10m’, which ties in with Sport Mediaset’s claim of a proposal worth €70m plus bonuses.
In the meantime, Mediaset and Sportitalia both expect Bianconeri sporting director Fabio Paratici to fly out to London tomorrow with the intention of agreeing a deal to exchange the Argentine for Lukaku.
