Monaco have reportedly rejected a proposal from Milan to swap Andre Silva for ex-Genoa forward Pietro Pellegri.
Pellegri’s agent Beppe Riso was at Milan’s offices on Monday for talks with Rossoneri officials.
Tuttomercatoweb explains the Diavolo offered Silva for Pellegri in an attempt to push the Portuguese to Monaco.
However, the website warns the Ligue 1 club turned down the request as they are ‘not convinced’ by the former Porto striker.
The 18-year-old, for his part, would be valued highly by the principality outfit, despite making just six appearances since his arrival from Genoa in January 2018.
Injuries, as opposed to competition for places, have so far limited his impact on Leonardo Jardim’s side.
