Samu Castillejo has no intention of leaving Milan and “will not consider any offers,” according to his agent. “If he plays more, he’ll score 10 goals.”

The 24-year-old winger only joined from Villarreal last summer and contributed four goals with four assists in 40 competitive games, but might be pushed further down the pecking order by new Coach Marco Giampaolo’s 4-3-1-2 system.

The 24-year-old winger only joined from Villarreal last summer and contributed four goals with four assists in 40 competitive games, but might be pushed further down the pecking order by new Coach Marco Giampaolo’s 4-3-1-2 system.

“Giampaolo is doing great work, he has a modern football philosophy and the players are all very happy with his arrival,” agent Manuel Garcia Quilon told Calciomercato.it.

“Players with great technique like Samu can play in any system. He knows how to move on the wings, between the lines or as a support striker.

“From the midfield up, he is useful in any position, as that is what his technical level allows him to do. The more Giampaolo gets to know him, the happier he’ll be.

“We will not consider any offers to leave Milan, as Castillejo is very happy here and motivated for the new season. His performances last term were positive, considering the minutes he actually played.

“He scored four goals in 1,000 Serie A minutes of football, but if he plays 3,000 minutes, then he’ll net over 10 goals.”
