Udinese have received the all-clear to fly Hannover midfielder Walace over for a medical, claim Sky Sport Italia.
It’s reported the cost of the operation will be in the region of €6.5m plus bonuses.
The two clubs agreed basic terms and Walace has therefore been given permission to undergo a medical.
Once that is completed and the final details are worked out, he can sign the contract.
Walace is a 24-year-old with five senior Brazil caps to his name.
He’s been in Germany since January 2017 with Hamburger SV and then Hannover 96.
Last season, he made 26 Bundesliga appearances with one goal and one assist.
Walace had also been linked with Lazio and Fiorentina.
