Sampdoria have officially sold Belgium midfielder Dennis Praet to Leicester City for a fee of around €20m.
Praet has signed a five-year contract with Samp after he completed his transfer before Thursday’s deadline.
The 25-year-old joined Samp from Anderlecht in 2016 and went on to play 106 times for the Blucerchiati, scoring four goals and providing six assists.
He had been linked with following Coach Marco Giampaolo to Milan but will not continue his career with the one-time Premier League winners.
