Parma are in negotiations with Milan to take Diego Laxalt and Ivan Strinic, but are still discussing the details.
Sky Sport Italia confirm Ducali representatives met with Milan today to ask after full-backs Laxalt and Strinic, who are not part of Coach Marco Giampaolo’s plans for this season.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Laxalt is the main target and could make the move to the Stadio Tardini on loan with obligation to buy for a total of €12m.
The main issue remains his salary, which is currently €1.8m per year net until June 2022, so the Uruguay international would have to spread the cost out over a longer contract to push the move through.
Strinic joined Milan as a free agent last summer from Sampdoria, but did not play at all in a Rossoneri jersey.
He was diagnosed with a cardiac irregularity and kept out for three months, then had a series of muscular and ankle injuries when trying to get back into shape.
