Lucas Paqueta says he is ‘very happy’ to be back at Milan and that his team will ‘have fun’ under new boss Marco Giampaolo.
Paqueta is set to play a key role for Giampaolo’s Milan, with the midfielder possibly being pushed up into the No 10 role if Suso leaves.
“I’m very happy to be back wearing the Milan shirt,” the 21-year-old told Milan TV.
“We hope it’s a great year for all of us. I’m available to the Coach. I play wherever I’m needed and where I can do well.
“Technical players like me help improve their team’s game and we can have fun on the field with great responsibility to achieve victories.”
Rafael Leao made his Rossoneri debut during Saturday’s 2-0 win against Kosovan side Feronikeli, the new boy managing to lay off an assist.
“I do whatever I can with communication, and I can say that he’s a great player.”
