Juventus are reportedly eyeing a free transfer for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen next summer.
Eriksen has been heavily linked with moves to Spain this month, but Italian journalist Alvise Cagnazzo – writing for The Daily Mail – claims Juve are keeping a close eye on his situation.
That is because the Dane has entered the final 12 months of his contract with Tottenham and he is free to talk to the Bianconeri in January as a result, although that would no longer be the case if he signs a new deal.
The Old Lady have become renowned for their free transfers in recent years, landing the likes of Andrea Pirlo, Paul Pogba, Emre Can, Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot without paying a transfer fee.
The 27-year-old, in the meantime, came off the substitutes’ bench to help Spurs beat Aston Villa 3-1 in their Premier League opener on Sunday.
