Christian Kouame is in discussions to extend his contract with Genoa after approaches from Sassuolo, Lyon, Marseille, Lille and Borussia Dortmund.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the 21-year-old striker has earned an improved salary after four goals and six assists in his debut Serie A season, not to mention an impressive summer of performances.
He is set to receive €1m net per season until June 2024, as his contract currently runs to June 2023.
Genoa have not entirely ruled out a transfer, but would want at least €15m plus €5m in bonuses to part with the Ivorian.
As part of his €5.25m move last year, Cittadella are owed 10 per cent of any future sale fee.
