According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, talks continue for Albania international Hysaj, who has made it clear he wants a new experience after four years with the Partenopei.

The asking price remains €15-20m, but options are dwindling for the 25-year-old, who had been close to Atletico Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus.

His arrival would allow Alessandro Florenzi to move into a more advanced role, placing Hysaj in as a more traditional right-back.

As for the left side of defence, Turkish sources continue to push the idea that Kolarov wants to join Fenerbahce, but there is no sign in the Italian media that he is even considering an exit.

The Serbian’s contract is due to expire in June 2020, but a renewal is not out of the question, especially after Edin Dzeko, Cengiz Under and Nicolò Zaniolo all signed new deals this week.

Kolarov had one of his most productive campaigns last term, scoring nine goals with two assists in 43 competitive games for Roma.
