Mario Balotelli has thanked Flamengo fans for their show of support after he chose to return to Italy with Brescia.
Balotelli was in talks to join Flamengo, but the Brazilian club ultimately released a statement confirming they had been unable to agree a deal.
“Thank you Flamengo supporters for all the messages and displays of affection I’ve received from you in recent days. Good luck to you all!” the Italy striker sportingly wrote on Instagram.
