Napoli are reportedly closing in on a swoop for ex-Juventus striker and free agent Fernando Llorente.
Napoli have moved to the top of the pile for Llorente, and El Chiringuito reports the so-called ‘white smoke’ could arrive this week.
The 34-year-old fits the bill for Carlo Ancelotti as experienced No 9 backup to Arkadiusz Milik, although Goal.com stresses the Partenopei still want Mauro Icardi.
The Spaniard won two Scudetti with Juve between 2013 and 2015 and helped Tottenham Hotspur reach their first-ever Champions League Final last season.
He has since attracted interest from several other Serie A sides, including Lazio, Inter, Roma and Fiorentina.
