German Pezzella, Rodrigo de Paul, Joaquin Correa, Lautaro Martinez and Paulo Dybala are all in the latest Argentina squad.
With Mauro Icardi again absent due to his lack of football for Inter and Lionel Messi serving a three-month international ban, Dybala and Martinez are two of only three recognised forwards called up by CT Lionel Scaloni.
The Albiceleste face Chile on September 4, before taking on Mexico five days later.
Meanwhile, Genoa defender Cristian Romero and Sampdoria midfielder Gonzalo Maroni have been included in the Under-23 squad.
