Alexis Sanchez is on the verge of his Inter loan move with option to buy for €15m, as he is not even on the Manchester United bench tonight.
The Chile international is nowhere to be seen for this evening’s Premier League game against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Former Milan striker Patrick Cutrone is on the bench for Wolves at Molineux.
It is widely reported in Italy and Chile that Sanchez will join Inter on a free loan with option to buy at the end of the season for €15m.
During that year, Manchester United will share at least half his salary, leaving Inter to pay only €4m.
A medical is expected in Italy tomorrow, after which the 30-year-old can sign the contract.
It is a return to Serie A, as he played for Udinese from 2008 to 2011, then was sold to Barcelona for €26m.
He moved on again to Arsenal in 2014 for €42.5m, but has struggled since the transfer to Manchester United for €34m in January 2018.
