Pajac reunites with Coach Aurelio Andreazzoli, who had him at Empoli during the second half of last season.
The 24-year-old played 10 times for the relegated Tuscans, scoring twice and providing one assist.
He has represented Croatia at several youth levels but has yet to play for their senior team.
