Rafael Leao, Leo Duarte and Ismael Bennacer have expressed their collective joy after being unveiled as Milan players.
Leao, Duarte and Bennacer were formally presented as Milan players for the first time on Tuesday, with the Rossoneri splashing out over €60m on the trio.
“I was received very well,” began the former Lille striker.
“I’m happy to have the chance to be part of this great club. I hope to give Piatek many assists, I really like to create chances.
“My position is up to the Coach, I can play both as a centre-forward or a second striker. Ronaldo’s a great player, but I have to work very hard to get to his level.
“For now, I can only say that it’s a dream to be here.”
Next up was the ex-Flamengo defender, who refused to shy away from Thiago Silva comparisons.
“My father always told me about Milan, so I’m very happy to be here now. I was shopping with my wife when I received the call. I want to make history at this club.
“I think I’m similar to Thiago Silva in terms of body and physique, but with all due proportions. If I can achieve even half of his success, I’ll be happy.”
Finally, the Algeria midfielder revealed Marco Giampaolo was a deciding factor in his move to San Siro.
“I feel good and I’m happy because we have a good team and a beautiful training complex. We can do the best we possibly can here.
“Giampaolo asked me to come here, which is already so much it itself. That’s the most important thing.
“I want to do my best because I know my qualities and his style of play. I’m a playmaker, but I’ll happily play wherever the Coach puts me.”
