RB Leipzig are reportedly pushing hard to close a deal for Roma striker Patrik Schick, on loan with either an option or obligation to buy.
According to Calciomercato.com, the two clubs are near an agreement over a season-long loan with an option to buy, which would become an obligation under certain conditions.
The website also tips Schick’s camp to negotiate personal terms with Leipzig as early as tomorrow.
La Gazzetta dello Sport, on the other hand, warn that while talks are ongoing between Roma and the Germans, there is a difference of opinion with regards to the structure of the loan.
That would be because the Giallorossi are holding out for a compulsory purchase option, whereas the Bundesliga outfit want just an option.
Ex-Milan and Fiorentina forward Nikola Kalinic has already been lined up as the Czech’s replacement at the Olimpico.
