Inter and Manchester United are confident of agreeing terms for Alexis Sanchez on Monday, claim Italian reports, after raising the salary payment to €4.5m.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Tuttosport and more, Monday will be the decisive turning point for the Chile international.
It’ll be a loan with option to buy for a total of €15m, so on the upper end of the €12-15m scale.
More importantly, Inter are prepared to increase the amount of his salary they will pay during the loan spell, going from €4m to €4.5m.
Manchester United will still have to shoulder most of the wage, which stands at €12m per season, and have already paid the first two months anyway.
Inter play Lecce at San Siro on Monday evening and hope Alexis Sanchez could be in the stands for that game ahead of a medical on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Alexis is not expected to be the Manchester United squad against Crystal Palace.
