Fiorentina are on the verge of a €30m deal for Udinese star Rodrigo de Paul, with Giovanni Simeone or Marco Benassi possibly heading the other way.
Tuttomercatoweb and Sportitalia both report an agreement is close to being found for €25m plus €5m in bonuses.
However, they do not rule out a player being included in the transaction to possibly lower Fiorentina’s outlay.
The counterparts in question are Simeone and Benassi, although the former is rated difficult, whereas the latter could only move if Seko Fofana leaves Udinese.
The Argentina attacker only appeared as a substitute during the Zebrette’s 1-0 win against Milan on Sunday, suggesting a transfer was in the works.
