The Uruguay international has been linked with numerous clubs over the last couple of weeks and had seemed on the verge of an Atalanta transfer when talks broke down.

He was then close to Torino, only for Sassuolo to make an improved bid.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Calciomercato.com and others, Laxalt finally agreed terms with Torino this evening.

It will be a €500,000 loan with option to buy at the end of the season for a further €11.5m.

That is already a loss for Milan, who paid Genoa €14m plus up to €4m in bonuses only a year ago.

“We are talking to Torino, it could be finalised between tonight and tomorrow,” agent Ariel Krasouski told MilanNews as he entered the meeting.
